Our fried chicken was very good, moist on the inside crispy on the outside. The collard greens were the best I have ever had. The biscuit was okay, not great. The mashed potatoes were luke warm when they arrived. The servers were very friendly and helpful. Good beer. Over all, a very good experience.

Dinner was a disaster. We were seated and had to get up to asked to have our order taken. Requested dressing in the side of the salad; brought with dressing. Chicken came out before the replacement salad came and the replacement salad was missing ingredients. We asked for more condiments but the server first cleaned a table before bringing the condiments. The place was empty so no one was waiting. $47 for 10 piece chicken! At the very least service and food should have been much better.

Hello Cathy, I am so terribly sorry to hear about your recent visit and my apologies for the delayed response. I would hope to find a way to make this right for you as this is not our standard of service and expectation for dining in general. I would welcome the chance to discuss with you further. I can be reached at shelley.yates@postchickenandbeer. Thank you for your feedback, although it is disappointing, it certainly helps us know where our shortcomings are so that we can continue to better ourselves and alleviate this in the future. Thank you again and hope to have the opportunity to speak with you. Sincerely, Shelley Yates

We were greeted by super nice staff and promptly sat. Had a great table in the lively bar area. Our waitress was super attentive at first but then never saw her again and food delivery staff was unable to take drink orders. Drinks were super slow to show up and were heavy on the ice, low on substance. Beer and wine proved better choices but refills were hard to get. Food was great. Wings, deviled eggs, salads, sandwiches, chicken and waffles were all well received. Restaurant was super busy which explained servers absence, but would have enjoyed more drinks.

Thank you Carolyn, I appreciate your feedback and notes on service and food, we will definitely take note of the misses and hope to get those drinks out a little more expeditiously and so pleased that you enjoyed your food! We hope to see you again soon! Cheers! Shelley Yates

Very bad service at the time of our visit and restaurant was practically empty. We took my son and his friends out for dinner. Waiter kept disappearing for long periods when we wanted a second drink took forever. Made the experience very frustrating.

Hello David, My apologies on the delayed response to your review. I am so terribly sorry that this was the experience that you received on your most recent visit. We value our guests as the most important part of what we do and this sounds inattentive and not at all what we would strive for. I would certainly welcome an opportunity to make this right for you somehow and bring you back for the service that you and we would expect. I can also be reached directly at Shelley.yates @postchickenandbeer for a more direct discussion. Thank you again, although hard to hear, we always want to know where we fall short so we can continue to better ourselves and offer the quality of service our guests expect. Thank you, Shelley Yates

The chicken was a bit dry and flavour was lacking. The mashed potatoes and biskuits was worth the visit.

Not the best place for a large group of friends for brunch. Service was not great. The server just came with food to the table and yelled out who had the chicken and waffles for every dish. Then the server did not want to put the effort in to creating separate checks for 10 people, she dropped off one large bill and gave us attitude about it.

Hostess was great. First waitress was very nice and she said she would be our waitress for the night. We ordered our drinks and appetizers right away. We had to wait about 30 minutes after that to order our actual food. And it was a different person that finally took our order. He was very spazzy and forgetful. Once we received our food (after about an hour) he never came by to check and see how our food was. Had he done that he would have realized that my wife did not like the coleslaw at all and wanted to order another side. When she was finally able to do that we have to wait almost 30 more minutes to received mashed potato’s AND we had to pay for both sides. He was such a bad server. He never asked if we wanted refills. We had to chase him down everytime we needed something and then he would forget to actually follow through. The restaurant was not at all busy. We won’t ever eat there again.
