   Tessa, our server truly made this experience as wonderful as it was. She was attentive, friendly and had a festive spirit! I Loved the ambiance of The Post Room and when I had high tea there in the past, the food was much better. This time, the finger sandwiches were very good. However, the scones were extremely dry and the cheesecake was so salty none of us could enjoy it. Macaroons were delicious. I’m doubtful I’ll return for high tea but will definitely go back for a cocktail!

   Me and my wife celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Post Room. We were served by Soukaina..... she is doing an outstanding job. We had a great time.

   The tea service and the atmosphere were fantastic. Benedeth was the lovely person who took care of us from start to finish. Special thanks to her for making us feel welcome. She was warm, friendly, considerate and very efficient. I have enjoyed high tea all over SF and the Post Room is my new favorite spot. I plan to return for dinner soon.

   Apparently there were some large private events, but that shouldn't be the customer's problem. We sat for an hour and 45 minutes waiting for a couple pasta dishes while watching tables that were seated after us get served before us. At the 90-minute mark, we asked about our meals and we're told "can't you see we're very busy". We were finally offered a complimentary glass of wine which by the time it was offered we weren't interested. There wasn't even an offer to remove drinks from our tab. After paying the bill, I did ask to talk to the manager who genuinely seemed to want to make it right, but I was surprised I had to ask to talk to somebody and they weren't already aware and apologetic of how poorly things were going. The tip was automatically added to the bill, thereby taking away any customer discretion based on their experience.

   Such a waste of money. Went for Thanksgiving dinner where the meal was $90 per person. Almost every dish was a miss - dry hard focaccia bread, watered down pumpkin soup, dry turkey, and chewy lean cut rib roast. “Sides” included gravy, cranberry sauce, and stuffing cubes. On top of that, service was extremely slow although it didn’t look like the place was even half full. I usually have no issue with automatic gratuity but the service we received was nowhere near that. Also, it was not clear that the buffet was only for lunch on open table, so we booked thinking it is offered all day. Based on how the food tasted, we have no interest giving this place another try for regular dining.

   What a wonderful restaurant, live music with a singer, and a table for 5 just close enough. Several stations, as it was Thanksgiving. Salads, pastas, great veggies and excellent turkey, roast beef and porchetta. Delicious desserts. And wonderful wines, all included. Excellent and attentive service from all staff, a great start to the Holidays. Enjoy!

   The service was excellent. The food choices were good. I think offering an option without wine would be more appealing and later seating for Thanksgiving dinner.
