Went in Saturday night around 6 pm. Waitress was very forgetful and had a bit of an attitude. Food was bland. Not going in again.

Bison burger had so many fillers that it didn’t taste like meat and it was enclosed in a bizarre, black type of bun, that was almost burnt tasting... good service and good ambience.

We make a point of dining here every time we visit Banff, and we're never disappointed. All the staff from the front desk, bartender to our server were stellar. The food was incredible and so was the atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We had breakfast here and we were pretty excited as we had heard raving reviews from family. However there were several issues we encountered. It was not a busy morning and we were the only two people in the dining room at the time. - Orange juice was watery, either diluted or poorly made. - Coffee was served without a spoon and given milk when we asked for cream. No coffee top up was served either. - Toast was served without butter, by the time butter arrived, the toast was cold and there was no hope of adding it ourselves. - Avocado tasted like packet avocado you expected from a much cheaper location. - Potato bites were partially undercooked. - Portions for the price point did not add up. We were hoping for a better experience, perhaps in the future changes will be made and we will return :)

The food was well prepared. The romaine salad was very refreshing and my husband was very pleased with his rib eye, my seafood pasta had plenty of seafood and was tasty but not memorable. Our server was pleasant just rn off her feet so not able to give close attention. I must admit we are not fans of the decor redo although the larger windows are nice. It’s lost a bit of the cozy mountain lodge feeling.

The Prow is a delightful restaurant with a nice, quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. We ate here for both dinner and breakfast, and both were scrumptious meals. The Elk Striploin is to die for, and may be the best steak you'll ever have. The trout eggs benedict is also sublime. Both our servers were a joy. Extremely friendly and conversational, with exceptional service. 100% would eat there again.
