   Fantastic meal and excellent service. It was a little colder than we would prefer. My wife kept her coat on for most of the meal, but other than that Puddle Dock is a great choice.

   As always, our time at Puddle Dock was delightful. The ambiance totally drew you in. Our waitress who we have had at a previous time was very accommodating. Seeing as there was one in our party who is gluten intolerant she was very helpful with choices. The food was mouth watering. We love coming here especially on play nights.

   Puddle Dock is one of our favorite restaurants!! It is consistently a great dining experience- delicious food,wonderful staff and the lovely music which is perfect as it suits the ambience of a New England style restaurant. It was my birthday and a card was waiting on our table which was a nice touch.

   David was WONDERFUL, the meal was delicious AND I had paplova for the first time. I love this restaurant, its a fantastic experience every time I go. If you can, sit in David's section! I cannot recommend Puddle Dock enough.

   This was our first dining experience at The Puddle Dock. We were immediately met at the door by smiling faces who sat us right away under a reservation we booked days in advance. The atmosphere was very inviting. Dimly lit, din of a bustling restaurant, fireplace warmed, pleasant home-cooked aroma. Our drinks were finely crafted and we had the lot (cocktails, wine, beer, hot mulled cider, espresso). The mussels were delectable and served in a way we'd never experienced. The main courses were hearty and delicious as you'd expect on a snowy evening in February. Dessert was simple and elegant. Wait staff and management made the rounds and ensured we were having a good time and every attention to detail was accounted for. I know fine dining and what to expect. This experience certainly exceeded those expectations without being pretentious. We will absolutely be back. Thank you again Chef Derek, Quinn, and Liam for a wonderful evening.

   We came to Puddle Dock after an outdoor event in historic Portsmouth. We had 4:30 reservations and the place was already hopping when we came in. We never get steak anymore because I'm always disappointed, but I thought I'd try it here and was now disappointed! Great management and wait staff. It's nice when these people are friendly. We will definitely be back for special occasions.
