    We took my in laws to celebrate Christmas to the pump house last night. The ambience was very nice. We got to sit on the patio overlooking the river. Considering it is the middle of December, they kept the outside nice and toasty! Our server was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The corn bread was phenomenal. We ordered the fried green tomatoes and andouille sausage. My husband and I have been here in the past and LOVED the fried green tomatoes, but this time they were not very good. The andouille sausage dish was okay. Most of us got shrimp and grits. Again, it just wasn’t the same. Just kind of disappointed with the quality of the food.

    We had an amazing dinning experience. Chloe, our server, exceeded all expectations, her recommendations were spot on and she provided us with great service. I had an Old Fashioned which is the best I have had. We ate the jumbo shrimp cocktail and beet salad to start and they were delicious. As a main course our group had the stuffed mountain trout, braised short rib and shrimp and grits, no leftovers were available! We shared the bomba for dessert, it took a bit because it was frozen hard, but it was perfect when they brought it to the table.
