Love this place- highly recommended - food is excellent and this is a beautiful old country inn. Will be back all the time to this place! If I had some constructive criticism it would only be that some of their dishes are slightly expensive and they could do with lowering the prices on some of the dishes. However, don’t let this put you off as we have tried various dishes on this menu and all of them are excellent.

Pub was cold when we arrived - brrr! The staff are lovely but need training (pre service chat so they know what the soup of the day is, which menu is available etc) The food is good but could be presented better, eg soup was delicious but didn’t “look” particularly appetising. A sprinkling of parsley on top would have been a nice addition. All in all - has good potential to be *really* good with a bit of extra work

This was our first experience at the Queens Head for a number of years. The quality of the food and service were very good. Th prices are on a par with most in the area. The only issue was that the portions were slightly on the smaller side. However this did not detract from being a very pleasant experience and we will certainly recommend the Queens Head to our friends and neighbours.

This is our favourite place to eat out. The food is so delicious and massive portions. From starter to pudding every mouthful is prefect. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There when you need them but not hovering around. Thank you again.
