   Food was exceptional! Possibly one of the best meals we’ve had locally. Service was excellent, the young brunette waitress (apologies, didn’t catch her name) was so lovely. Overall great experience.

   The servers were lovely, however the overall dining experience wasn’t the best. One of our starters, the salt and pepper squid was still frozen inside. We also had to wait a long time until the food came out. The prices of the food were on the higher end so was expecting a higher level of dining, but was a little disappointed. But the servers were very nice and accommodating.

   We love the Queens Head. The food is excellent, staff friendly, and the ambience is relaxed and welcoming. Wouldn't change a thing. Can't wait to go again.

   This is a lovely village pub with great options for walks in the area including along the canal. We came for Sunday lunch which meant lots of roasts on the menu but the other main course options were more limited (no pie!) The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The food was reasonably good.
