   both the food and the service were excellent I tried the ribeye steak. It was cooked exactly as I ordered. It was delicious and tender.. I hardly needed the knife.  Other meals our party tried included the calamari which was judged the best calamari he had ever had. The Saltimbocca chicken and the peasants fish stew. everything was just perfect. All of our meals were delivered at the same time and everything is the proper temperature. for dessert, we had to have the chocolate cake as we had been there before snd know this is something you definitely must try if you are a chocolate lover

   Never a disappointment here. Portions are plentiful, so be sure to consider that when ordering. Otherwise, you’ll be sure to bring food home - and that’s not a bad thing. Service is excellent and I was very glad to see the restaurant so busy on a Saturday evening.

   Absolutely no ambience…. The lighting is terrible. The decor is mid 80s. There is absolutely no vibe for this kind of location and setting the prices are way out of bounds. It feels like a takeout restaurant more like a pizza place. I’ll give it 10 months unless the owner has money to burn…… dim, the lights have a painter come in, pay for an interior designer it needs to be softened and warmed up. Take a trip to some of the nicer Italian restaurants in Portsmouth going into the north end and re-create that experience.

   2nd visit in a month. Great menu and wonderful food priced fairly! Thoroughly enjoyed the first visit. This time however seating, drinks and appetizers came promptly, but the main course took way too long (over 90 minutes from the order time to the table). In short, dinner service for a reserved table of 4 was disappointing and unacceptable even for a busy Saturday night .

   Overall experience was excellent. Very good, well prepared Italian comfort food. Servers were very pleasant and accommodating. We had the chicken piccata, chicken parm, linguine with clam sauce, among other dishes. All good and very plentiful. Food came out a little slow and somewhat erratically but we had a party of eight and it did not affect our enjoyment of the meal. Prices were reasonable. I would recommend a visit….

    Previously this location was a pizza and beer establishment. When we realized it was remolded and established as an Italian restaurant we wanted to give it a go. It was surprisingly a totally different and most rewarding dining experience . The menu and it’s delivery were top notch. We had the calamari appetizer and a Caesar salad to start. Both were exceptionally prepared and most generous. Our main courses were equally well prepared and generous. The dessert choice matched our expectations. While we were not in a rush, the service between courses was much slower than it should have been. Regrettably the echoing and noise level didn’t match the rest of our experience . We definitely will return as we were so pleased with the establishment’s transformation. We understand they are approaching their one year anniversary. This place is a well kept secret . For a Saturday night it wasn’t crowded. Not wanting to be selfish about this find, we hope the word gets out that this total transformation is a very worthwhile choice for a truly above average dining experience in the neighborhood!
