   Lovely and warm with the log burning stove. Very helpful and attentive staff. Super high quality food serve hot, and plenty of it. Especially the HUGE Yorkshire puddings. Outstanding.

   My friend & I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts yesterday ( 21st Dec ) Every aspect of our visit was perfect , especially the creamy scrambled eggs I requested . The salmon was divine too. Tastefully(!) furnished , warmth from the wood burner and discreet music allowing private conversations not to carry.. We will certainly be recommending you . My friend was so impressed she bought a gift voucher whilst there ! Many thanks again Jean

   A lovely place to eat. Food was very tasty and well presented. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, even though they were very busy with a large party in for Christmas dinner.

    This was our first visit after a recommendation from a friend. The layout and decor of the dining area is lovely, with nice lighting and ambiance. The staff were very helpful, and polite, with just the right amount of time given to offer drinks, allow you to browse the menu, and then take the order. The menu has a fairly good selection of 'traditional' dishes, but these are done very well. The portion size is generous, and I struggled to finish my burger, but the quality and taste was fantastic. We will definitely be back and will be recommending to our friends.
