   First time at refuge and the food was excellent. Large choice of entrees, wonderfully cooked at a price point slightly less expensive than a Perry’s or killian’s and a more jovial atmosphere. We had the short ribs and the scallops which were both cooked exceptionally. Great restaurant for any occasion. Will definitely make it a regular stop.

   The Refuge Steakhouse exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a delightful evening. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. Now, let's talk about the food! The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to their culinary expertise. The sides were equally impressive, complementing the main dishes beautifully. To top it all off, the dessert was a heavenly finish to an already fantastic meal. Overall, The Refuge Steakhouse is a gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience.    Valentine’s Day and my anniversary Table was in bar so noise level was what I expected ordered my usual cocktail Vodka Gibson on the rocks Very disappointed Refuge couldn’t make this cocktail as ordered I expected more Wedge salads were excellent Filets and crabmeat stuffed shrimp also Asparagus was perfectly grilled Cheesecake dessert was delicious Service was overly attentive and bordered on turning our table over quickly Advertised band did not play Very disappointed

   We had an awesome Cowboy Ribeye that was seasoned just right. If you have never tried the eggplant fries, you have not lived - they are spectacular. As usual, the bourbon and drink selection is second to none in the area.

   I've been here several times. Food is awesome. Service is top notch. Decor is great. However, if you are looking to have a nice relaxing meal, this is not the place to go. It was so loud in there this time that I could hardly hear my husband talking to me across the table much less hear our server. I consider this place upscale and for that price I would not expect to feel like I don't need to yell to have a conversation. Toning down the noise would make this place so much more amazing.
