Sourcing food and supporting local artisan growers and producers and utilizing our farm as the chefs pantry gives us the opportunity to create an evolving menu that draws its inspiration from the seasons and in harmony with the earth. The venue has a breathtaking view and natural setting overlooking the Potomac River. We offer a tasting menu Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Check the website for the menu.
Wedding, rehearsal dinner, corporate or special event – we strive to exceed your dreams. Innovative and skillfully executed dishes follow the lead of nature, being mindful of the environment.
*Due to the style of menu on special events and holidays and the complexities involved with individual and specific food allergies, we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions on those days. We make every effort to provide vegetarian and accommodate gluten sensitivities.*

Of course, KFC jumped at the chance and launched "Kentucky for Christmas" and the smae simple simple mesage of "on Christmas, you eat chicken" is still a cultural phenomenon. In Japan, KFC is known as Kentakkii. They even had Colonel Sanders dressed up as Santa and in Japan "Christmas is all about Kentucky Fried Chicken" Tamotsu Nagata. And, people ate angel food cake, whipped cream and berries!!

Amazing. Of you are thinking about it, go! John was our server, helped by Paul. They were super friendly and wanted to give you the experience you were there for. We sat out on the patio and took in all the views and it was a wonderful evening.

My husband and I dined at The Restaurant at Patowmack for our fifth wedding anniversary. From the atmosphere to the food to the impeccable and top-notch service, we had a divine experience. We owe a great deal of gratitude to our host John, who made the night so special, including adding off-menu courses, giving us the history of the restaurant and its owner, and telling the story of each dish. The monogrammed menus and meeting Chef Joshua Howard were such treats. With the country and world as chaotic as they are, I'm glad places like The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm still exist. There is warmth, care, culinary innovation, and remarkable hospitality. The Uni Carbonara and duck breast were our favorites.

I love going to high end restaurants and this did not disappoint. The outdoor seating area was perfect with views of fall colors that you can’t imagine. The service was that of a Michelin star. We had 9 courses and the ravioli was insane!! One of the top 5 meals of my life. We will be back for sure

Two elements of eating at a restaurant Food (which is source, preparation and plating) and Service are so closely related that a deficit in one area affects the other. For example: Good food but poor service, you might go back, hoping for a different server. Poor food but great service, you won't be back. Likewise, when food and service are in tune, there is a synergy that raises to 'event' level. Such is the case at The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm. Both the quality of the dishes and the manner in which they are served at Five Star and is certainly, Michlin Star quality, in my opinion (and I've eaten at some of the best). It is nearly impossible to select one or two courses that stand out: All were individual delights! As I review the menu (provided by the restaurant as you leave), each item brings back a picture to my mind and an assortment of flavors that I don't remember ever having before. The menu is seasonal so, as it is Autumn, there were tree fruits, root vegetables, amazing pumpkin ravioli, smoked Cobia, Quail, mushrooms, and squash, among others. All delicious and served with personal care. There is a wine pairing option as well as a 'mocktail' pairing to go with your meal. A very nice selection of wines is available from a list that, fortunately, is not pages and pages long. Our server, John, was quite knowledgeable, as I feel all the staff are. I opted to bring my own wine, which the restaurant allows, at a reasonable corkage fee. Although I brought it, it was opened and served as if it was the finest gem from the restaurant's own cellar. So stop reading and make a reservation. If you really enjoy what happens when wonderful food and service come together, you will not be sorry!
