Our pub & restaurant aims to showcase the best of Herefordshire food and drink in a unique and environmentally conscious way, supplemented by our own extensive kitchen gardens and foraged from the land surrounding our inn.

    Our first time at Riverside. Last time it was an old fashioned pub. The ambience and staff was lovely. The right balance of sophistication and Herefordshire charm. The good was good too. Fully re go end this great place. It’s not cheap, but is worth it.

    This is a really lovely restaurant to take family and friends especially for a special occasion. Our daughter was over from USA and she really enjoyed her visit to the Riverside.

    Outstanding meal, staff friendly & efficient. Lovely setting & cosy atmosphere. Dog friendly which was the icing on the cake.

    A 2nd time having dinner at The Riverside at Aymestrey, this time taking my Mother and father for a Christmas dinner. From start to finish, this place is exceptional. We received a friendly welcome, all the staff are attentive and the whole ambience is warm and inviting. We sat in the lower dining room and the food was absolutely excellent and fantastic value. The restaurant was accomodating to our requests prior to arrival and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace to have coffee afterwards. I think this is a new family favourite!! Thank you to all the staff who made our Christmas dinner so special.

    The Riverside is my first choice for a celebration type event. Great locally sourced ingredients and drinks. Very friendly and hard working staff. Love it.

    We came here because it was dog friendly and because of the high star reviews. As soon as we sat down the waitress came over with a dog water bowl which we didn't even have to ask for, which was a great start. We went for a three course meal with a snack to begin with and each course was as amazing as the last. Great food and service. Highly recommend.
