   The portions are generous - something I regretted on digging in to my Mac & Cheese with bacon (and chips !). Herself had a chicken sandwich which was served with fries. It was good. Had it not been, I'd have rated this two stars 'Poor' instead of three 'Fair'. Service was ok. I'm tempted to try it for Sunday Lunch (after booking of course - it gets busy apparently) and would maybe call in if passing but otherwise?

   We went there for a Sunday roast, but they had run out at 4pm. A bit disappointed but the food we had was very nice.

   It was another mediocre experience. The staff are good, though. The food is only OK—the GF fish and chips were poor and made from frozen, not fresh (judging by the amount of water that could be squeezed out of the fish), the Sunday beef rib roast was a bit tough, and the Mac&Cheese was sent back as the order was wrong, and we had to chase it up. They do well because the setting is quite nice, and there isn't much to rival it in the village, but it could be so much better.

   Everything here was perfect only issue (which wasn’t a big issue) was the price of sides and the portion size for what you paid. However overall experience was great 👍🏼
