   Beautiful food again tonight. Excellent service from all members of staff. Great value for money, the portions on the 2 for £18 menu are huge - couldn't even manage a dessert

   What a really lovely evening! Went on steak night and not disappointed. Steak cooked to perfection. Meal was plentiful and not bulked out with stodgy chips. A decent portion of beautifully light fries. And the tomato and mushroom. Oh and the onion rings… really nice. Had sorbet as couldn’t eat much more. Lovely flavours. Desserts looked amazing on the other table… maybe next time. Plenty of attentive staff and they were smiling. Couldn’t fault this restaurant. Thank you.

   Excellent food as always, good choice of beers. Staff are very approachable, polite and helpful. The Rock & Fountain has a well deserved reputation, it is definitely well worth a visit.

   All the staff we interacted with were friendly and polite. The service was excellent and a good pace. The choices of starters and mains on the menu gave a good range to cover all tastes. The whole meal experience was very enjoyable.

    Lovely food and service. Although recommend booking Sunday dinner earlier in afternoon than 5pm as things may run out and limit choices.
