Brought to you by Chris & Michele Redding, the owners of Cuckoo's Chicken House & Waterin' Hole and The Animas City Theatre, The Roost opened June 12, 2018, offering affordable, casual dining in a fun, downtown location. Our seasonal menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees, prepared by Chef Dave Cuntz, Colorado Restaurant Association's Chef of the Year 2021. Pair your meal with a glass of wine, craft beer or signature cocktail. Finish your meal with one of Nana Pat's Cookie Dough Brownies ala mode you'll be glad you saved room for dessert! Located in Downtown Durango, 1/2 a block for the historic Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge railroad. A great place to dine after your train ride.

Another great dining experience at The Roost. There were 6 of us each with a different meal. Everyone was very happy with their choices. Cookie brownie dessert and the after dinner coffee drink(can’t remember the name) were all delicious!

First time here, will be back. Great food and atmosphere, amazing service. We had 2 children and ordered their food with appetizers so it would come out quicker, to help keep them happy, food came out quickly. Adults ordered, our food also came out with really good timing.

Fantastic prime rib! I’m a prime rib snob and a frequently dissatisfied, or face it — disgusted —with bad prime rib. The Roost knocked it out of the park!
