   This is the second time we have dined at the Royal Green. We went on a Sunday evening and took advantage of their prefix menu. It offered a nice variety of appetizers, main meal and deserts for a more than reasonable price. Ann Marie was our server both times and was very attentive and was able to accurately describe dishes when asked. The young bartender made a delicious Cosmopolitan!! Clam Chowder for an appetizer was one of the best I've ever had. Petite Filet Mignon was done to perfection. Desserts were a perfect size to complete the meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

   What a pleasure to finally dine at RG! Charming club atmosphere, easy background music, wonderfully pleasant and attentive staff and one dish was more delicious than the last!! Thank you and we will be back soon!

   We really want to love this place service and ambiance is great but 3 out of the 4 steaks we ordered were overcooked, we were hungry so we ate them anyway. Our waiter Alan was great and did offer to take them back and redo them but there’s nothing worse than waiting while in our case one person was eating. They did compensate for the mistake and we will try again! This happened the first time we dined here.

   We were so impressed with The Royal Green. The remodeled restaurant is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Your staff was superb, attentive and friendly. We had the prix fixe dinner menu. The meal was perfect from the bread through the apps, main course and dessert. Our filets were perfectly cooked and the sides were hot and delicious.    I love this place! The food is great, albeit a bit heavy. Our server, Alan was great once again. He is very friendly and accommodating, and knows his wines as well. It was Halloween, so a quiet night, which was fine by me. I had the seafood pasta, which I never get elsewhere because I don't like the salty seafood with tomato sauce. But this was very good, not salty, and very flavorful. Also a very good portion of seafood in it. My friend ordered off the fixed price menu and had the clam chowder, the filet mignon, and the carrot cake bread pudding. All wonderful. The steak was a bit too rare for her, but they quickly rectified that. The renovation on this space is great. The decor is tastefully contemporary with black and gray tones which is offset by the natural light and candles. The prices are comparable for Stamford, and good for the quality of food. I will be back for sure.

   Can not say enough good things about this restaurant. Everything was great. Pretty setting. Service Great. Food delicious. You can talk and be heard. We will definitely be back.

   This is a great spot for a family or birthday celebration. It’s not a finicky foodie fine dining kind of place. Old school friendly service, good food, and not outrageous prices on the wine list and generally. What’s not to like about that?

    The charming setting -- from the candle-lit entryway to the dining room decor -- was a pleasant and unusual experience. The chef's creativity and skills are present in every course. Wonderful appetizers excellent steaks, mouth-watering puetenesca (a special that night) and memorable desserts (carrot cake and dense chocolate cake). The Staff and service were outstanding. We've been twice and will return soon.
