   Salt Line never disappoints. Had a great girls night with fantastic crab dip, a great fish sandwich and delicious desserts. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our experience. Will be going back!

   The Salt Line is our goto after a Washington Spirit game. We generally sit at the bar and the service, because it gets so busy, is a bit slower but that’s ok. Save with one bartender, our experience is always mediocre and only the one bartender ever acknowledges it. Either food is missing, we aren’t given menus forever, drinks never come, when asking for the whisky menu we get odd looks…Nothing that stops us from going back as the oysters are great but others may be put off.

   This was our first time to the Salt Line and it was very good. We liked the range of options for entrees and the crab cheese dip was fantastic. Our server was attentive and personable and the decorations of the restaurant were welcoming. The quality of food was good but for the price we would have liked more attention to the flavors. Overall, we recommend this place for a nice night out for 2 for a small group of friends.

   Two stars off for the food quality Two stars off for service The food is just not tasty. Period. We ordered a-lot of food and maybe 1or 2 of them were okay. Maybe a 3out of 5 and the rest were 1or 2 out of 5. Scallops smelled bad and fishy Seafood was NOT fresh. Didn't have tabasco sauce for the oysters. They had their "own" hot sauce which would be fine if it had been tasty.. which it wasn't. For the price they set (which was not cheap) the food just tasted... bad Service was mediocre. Not very attentive and the servers looked "busy" but it wasn't even that busy. They straight out ignored us on purpose several times. For this quality of food and service we will NOT be coming back. And I discourage anyone else. Save your money for someplace else

   The Salt Line - Navy Yard is one of our favorite spots to visit whenever we are in the DC area. We were hosted/served by Olga on this particular occasion, and she was amazing from start to finish. Thanks again to all of you for being awesome, and we will see you again when we return to DC!

   First visit and we we will return! We started with the scrimp cocktail which were nice sized. Pork chops, clam chowder soup and fish sandwich rounded out the meal. Melissa provided great service! Thanks for a great evening!

    The scallops entree with the sauce was exceptional. Fries were tasty. My partner enjoyed her spicy shrimp sandwich. Food was excellent and quick to the table
