   We found service of food to be very slow. Also the chicken supreme dish was too small a portion and the grilled corn not a good component at all . 2 little pieces of corn from the cob pretty much inedible . Meringue with the ice cream not particularly pleasant or necessary . 2 of our party asked for well done steaks however they had to be sent back as they were far from well done however this issue was resolved satisfactorily by the team including a bill adjustment which we appreciate so thank you Oliver for being so good and helpful and turning things for the better . I think dishes and menu still require some revision and service time needs to be improved. We were all getting very hungry after our afternoon of exploring Llangollen including our young child. Decor lovely. Live music was great - the guitarist / singer young man who was outstanding . A special mention for Oliver who is a credit to your team. Also the breakfast next morning we should add was very good , comprehensive ( although no plates at the continental buffet , nor glasses for juice - had to enquire about both - not great and it was only around 9 am not even particularly late into breakfast service ). We also appreciate the goodwill gesture from reception at checkout who advised that they would reimburse the cost of our breakfast due to some earlier booking confusion- thank you very much for this.

   It was a warm day so we had a drink outside on the nice patio area first. After looking at menu a few of us selected sea bass, but dissapointinhly, there wasnt any available. The waiting on staff need to be more much aware of the restaurant as a whole, they should be constantly checking/glancing around restaurant as diners are trying to catch their attention. Maybe it was because we were on the table far left corner, but we felt forgotten about. There was a large party in so the focus was on them. Please don't overlook your other diners as this isn't professional. When we tried to catch the attention of staff it was difficult. My friend asked for vinegar for her fish and chips and she had almost finished eating her meal before it came. Also, as someone who likes their vegetables cooked al dente the peas and carrots in my shepherd's pie were rock hard, unpleasant to eat. Oliver (?) was nice and friendly but seemed to be doing everything.

   Our 3rd visit to The Savvy Fox because I really like the choices on the menu, plus the food is beautifully presented and tastes lovely. Unfortunately, my friends steak was over cooked on this occasion. The service sadly lets this restaurant down. The waiting on staff are polite and lovely but the wait to order food & drinks, the wait for food to arrive and then no check to see if all is ok? We had to get up from our table a number of times to ask for another drink, desert menu and for our bill. The bill was incorrect and we begrudgingly paid the service charge. It’s such a shame as needs better management of service area. Staff seem to hide away near bar area.

    I enjoyed our Sunday Lunch, very tasty, two very slight complaints were the Yorkshire pudding was over cooked and some of the beef was a little tough, but these did not diminish the flavours. The Manager was very happy to note our findings. Our Waitress was so helpful and efficient. Lovely experience throughout. Would certainly recommend you to check them out.
