We had the salmon and filet. Both excellent in taste and presentation. Nice to find a superior restaurant in our vicinity.

Could not have been better! -Make certain you order the White Cadillac Margarita to kick off your dinner. It’s tangy and stout like a margarita should be, but with a creamy, slightly sweet layer on top. The perfect combination and contrast! -Tried Pork belly and Caesar salad to start. Pork belly was luscious. This dish is for you if you like sweet. The Caesar presentation is super creative, and the taste is slightly spicy, refreshing, and cheesy/crunchy! - Got a special treat next. The lobster tamale pie! My favorite item so far (second visit)! It’s like a deconstructed tamale, savory custard in the middle with masa in the bottom. Chunks of succulent lobster on top and then some other tasty ingredients on top of the thin slightly sweet hard layer that sits decoratively atop the dish. You crack the middle on top (sounds like the crack of the top of a perfect crème brûlée) allowing the other ingredients to fall and mingle with the rest. We stirred it up a bit so we’d get a taste of every in each bite. Order this and share. - Entrees…husband got salmon. It was divine. Cooked perfectly with a bit of a smoky flavor. I think I’ll get it next time. Wish the piece had been a bit larger. It was probably 5 oz. It sat on a flavorful black bean mash. There was a sauce as well, but I didn’t get a taste of that. - I went country and got the fried chicken. You get a huge piece of white meat and a leg. Crust is ample, crispy and crunchy. Meat was flavorful inside as well. Came with a delicious flaky country biscuit, butter, and an interesting “gravy” which was more of a sauce with a savory/sweet maple flavor. It was the only thing I didn’t care for all evening. Chicken also came with a side of sweet pickles that was the perfect sweet, acidic complement to the chicken and biscuit. I’m glad I tried it, but next visit I’ll either get the salmon or short rib again. - ATMOSPHERE is PERFECT. Lighting, decor, and music all add to the vibe. Make reservations and try this jewel!

Longtime follower of Stephan Pyles and first time dining at The Seeker. Loved everything about it! Started with cocktails, the Old Fashion and Espresso Martini. Both were fantastic. Then we both had the Ceasar salad and Fried Chicken and Short Rib main plates. Overall, everything was very good. We look forward to another trip to Stephenville for a great meal.

We loved it! The food was amazing! We tried several things on the menu and everything was delicious and perfectly plated. The ambiance was unique and a perfect balance of cozy and upscale. Our waitress and the service staff were all very kind, knowledgeable, and everything seemed effortless. The price was shockingly reasonable for the exceptional quality of food and service. We will definitely be back as this was not just a meal it was an entire experience.

The menu is very specific as to tastes. Caesar was beautiful however the flavor was just not for me or my wife. As for our fillets, both had to be returned due to being sent out undercooked. When they came back they were still undercooked but editable.

Thanks for the review, David! We're glad to hear that you enjoyed our Caesar salad, but we're sorry to hear that our fillet dishes didn't meet your expectations. We always aim to deliver a great experience, and we're truly sorry that this was not the case this time. We appreciate your feedback and will certainly look into these matters. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you and your wife in the future.

We had a wonderful dining experience. From the moment we walked in the aura that the men and women working there had made for an amazing night. The food was outstanding, their spin on a Cesar was exquisite and the cook and flavor of the ribeye was on point. If you are looking for a very upscale dinning experience that is reasonably priced then the SEEKER is the place.

A fabulous new dinning option has opened in Stephenville, Texas. Original and creative takes on traditional American cuisine served by a friendly and professional staff in an equally original and creative atmosphere. Be sure to ask for a tour of the newly renovated hotel next to the restaurant.

We were there for their valentines special weekend fixed menu. The lobster tamale and squash bisque was our starters. Lobster tamale was interesting, good, texture might be interesting for some people as there is some custard type thing that comes with it. Again, really good. Also it's served in an interesting way which should require explanation when it gets to the table. Didn't get that, and that is something that I think will come with time since it's a new restaurant. Bisque was out of this world. Shortrib entree was fantastic, highly recommend, just make sure it's hot or at least very warm when it comes out, if it's not they will make sure it's good temp. The brussels with this were phenomenal. They were out of halibut but did the fish entree with salmon on top of a crab elote which was definitely unique with the zing of the grapefruit. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Deserts were both fantastic, the panacotta (very tangy orange top layer, creamy bottom.) The apple bread thing was incredibly and the vanilla bean ice cream it was served with was fantastic. Huge bonus on the night was that Stephan Pyles was actually there and got to speak to him briefly. Not too often you get to meet one of the best chefs in the country in Stephenville, TX. I do think they have some small things they have to fix and iron out but overall great spot, great ambiance and I look forward to trying more of the menu.
