   I was looking forward to wine tasting and dining at Derwent Valley Winery but had no expectations except for a nice outing with family for my birthday. The menu looked good online and it was as overwhelmingly good as it sounded! Delicious and well sized portions of fresh, seasonal produce showcasing many of Tasmania’s classics but with interesting variations. The wine tasting before hand at the cellar door with Liz was an excellent introduction to the Estate and her friendly service and excellent knowledge made the experience even more enjoyable. Will be telling everyone to come and bringing all our visiting friends and family in the future. Thank you again for a lovely day!

   Beautiful sunny day in gorgeous surroundings. The vineyard is just lovely as is the dining area. Service was great with very personable wait staff. The food was top notch. A most pleasant and enjoyable visit thank you

    The food was amazing, with a pleasant variety of flavours in everything we ordered. The lamb shoulder was cooked to perfection and just fell off the bone and was as tender as could be. The staff were very attentive and there wasn't a moment where we weren't looked after. Will definitely be going back again.
