   We both enjoy an excellent lunch served with perfection to the requirements we requested. Our wine was a perfect accompaniment to our meal. In a lovely relaxing dining area than was cosy on a chilly January day. The service was fantastic nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely be returning to try other tempting meals on the Ship menu.

   Friendly staff who worked well under pressure. The food was good and plentiful and the menu had enough gluten-free choices for my Coeliac partner. The Sunday lunch roast beef was well cooked and remarkably tender, with a good array of vegetables. The chowder starter was delicious and there was a decent number of real ales to choose from to accompany the food.

   Myself, my wife and daughter booked the Ship Inn after reading other customer reviews as we were on holiday for a couple of days. It certainly did not disappoint but indeed exceeded expectations. Our initial plan was to dine here one evening and then find somewhere else the following, however after the excellent service and fantastic food rebooked for the following night also. Why try to find anywhere else?! From initially entering the Inn we were made to feel really welcome by Katy in such a relaxing atmosphere and very pleasant ambience. My daughter over the moon with alcohol free beer on tap and her vegan burger whilst my pork belly sublime on night one and the steak in the stroganoff the best I had ever tasted night two. Good choice of real ales. My only disappointment was that I could not try the comprehensive wine list as driving.

   Best Sunday roast and brunch in North Norfolk. Great staff and very inviting pub.

   Not quite the usual standard at the Ship Inn. Not enough meat on the ribs and one of the party received pork nachos having ordered chicken. A little lacking in ambience as it was fairly quiet. Wouldn’t stop us going back however.
