    It’s always a satisfying and enjoyable time at The Smith! The staff and food and ambiance, as well as food portions and value are just sublime! And always consistent. We love dining here. The Smith never disappoints! Last evening, on such a cold evening, we were greeted warmly by the maitre d’ and were given a table in the section we requested. It’s so nice—in this day where sparkling and still water are costly additives to your bill. That The Smith gives you a bottle of each for free. The cocktails are full and hardy. And the sourdough bread is fresh and delectable. My partner and I shared the Little Gem Caesar—so delicious with its toasted Parmesan crunchies and zesty dressing. He had the Smith Burger, which he greatly anticipates and it was fabulous, as always. With piles of fries, cultivated to perfection. I had the Bronzino—a huge portion of truly wonderful fish! On a bed of butternut squash, rice, almonds, scallions, and other roasted vegetables. I can’t eat spicy foods, so I had the coconut curry on the side. I enjoyed that dish so much! And took half of it home. For only $32–it is such a bargain! We live mostly in The Hamptons but have an apartment near this NoMad Smith and we can never eat like this out in the Hamptons. The Smith excels in quality, vitality, value, ambience , a kind and wonderful staff. An exemplary treat always! We’ll be back soon. Thank You The Smith!!

    Restaurant was very loud. Staff was constantly rearranging tables in a loud way. Our server only checked on us once. Took 30 minutes to get drink. Potato chips with blue cheese were good. Ribs were very fatty. Steak special was good

    We love the Smith and come whenever we are in NYC. Always have to get the blue cheese fondue potatoe chips to start. Highly recommend the burger. My son got the gnocchi and it’s delicious but sooo rich! Hubs got the steak and was nice cut. And good deserts too!

    Just wanted to say it was the perfect place to welcome our out of town family to the city . Nice round table , not too close to others, good menu for everyone to find something . Attentive service . Festive . And good food . Thank you . It is hard to get reservations around the Christmas holiday , and it was nice to feel embraced
