Not trying too hard, not overly complicated, and EXACTLY what you are looking for; our menu is the fox's knees. We have got a great selection of Scottish beers on tap, and have recently created an extensive cocktail menu for you to sip on while you catch up with friends. From the kitchen, you can expect feel good pub dishes with a twist made from fresh, seasonal ingredients – we think yer granny would even approve!

Foxes might not be great at sports (it’s hard when you can’t even wear shoes) but that doesn’t stop us from watching all the big games! We have all Sky Sports & BT channels so can show everything from the Scottish Premiership & International Football to the Grand National and Wimbledon. Swing by, pull up a pew and catch all of the action.

Santa will be here spreading Christmas cheer at his Grotto, giving the perfect opportunity for a festive photo op and his elf helpers will even be handing out presents to those on the 'nice list'. When: 1st, 8th and 15th December from 10 am to 2 pm-Santa will be visiting from 10:30am to 12:30 pm What's included...? Priced at £15per person, kids will receive a drink, a pancake stack with a choice of toppings, a present, AND a chance to meet Santa and his elves! Adults will receive a brunch dish per person, with filter tea & coffee. Please note that we will contact you in advance of your booking to help Santa provide age appropriate gifts for your little ones!

Fantastic lunch that myself and my mother thoroughly enjoyed. Steak pie & Fish 'n' chips - both delicious. Highly recommend The Smokin Fox.

Lovely food. Great service. Quite expensive for food and portions not that big but very nice food. Really loud but good atmosphere. Tv screens in abundance. Not so good.

Hi Anna, thank you so much for lovely comments about quality of our food - we take great pride to always provide exceptional dishes and we check our competitors regularly to make sure we are in line with city center prices. Atmosphere is buzzing here in December, if you are looking for quiet spot please visit us again in January and don't forget we are showing all Six Nations live from February, you can watch games from every table thanks to multiply screens and 3 sky boxes. The food was absolutely delicious, staff nice and welcoming. Always enjoy the atmosphere in the Fox, nice and cosy and inviting. I would definitely recommend coming here.
