The Snooty Fox is a pub with a difference and Northamptonshire's finest freehouse - there is so much to sample, you’ll need to revisit many times - and you’ll always be assured of a Snooty Fox welcome whenever you do.

The pub itself is a truly stunning place in the heart of Lowick, a lovely village with a great community spirit.

The Greedy Gordons Pub Group were thrilled to take over the pub in 2020 and wanted to create an unusual and quirky venue with food and drink to match.

    Definitely a 'cut above'. Very pleasant surroundings, good, prompt, friendly service - and a first rate chef. One often leaves a restaurant with a feeling of: 'That was nice, but (these days) pricey... not sure "nice" was worth the bill'. But with the Snooty Fox, it was a little more expensive than the average but we left with the feeling: 'That was absolutely worth it!' Recommended.

    Great atmosphere, amazing/attentive service and well cooked quality food! Plus, the drinks were delicious too! The oysters were fresh and great quality, and the Plaice well cooked and tasty….could have done with some more vegetables as felt a bit too light for me personally - my partner had the lobster roll which she enjoyed, but felt a bit too much roll v lobster…..the lobster was tasty and beautifully cooked though! A great selection of drinks and low/no alcohol beer choice on draft - a pint of each was perfect for a drive out in January. Dessert was shared with a rich sticky toffee pudding that we couldn’t finish! A great sweet treat to end the meal! My first visit, but definitely won’t be the last - will try the meat next as the plates looked amazing that I saw being delivered to adjacent tables !!

    The cured salmon and beetroot sorbet was just amazing!! We had the cote du boeuf as always it was cooked to perfection!!

    Roast beef was the best I have ever had in restaurant. Good selection of vegetables and good flavoursome gravy.

    I am not a big eater but do love my food. I explained I would love a roast could I have small portion. It was suggested I had a child's roast. This was ideal for me.

    Fantastic restaurant, fabulous staff, beautiful interior and vibe, food was amazing! For some may be a bit on the pricier side but you get what you pay for so value for money it’s definitely worth it!!! 100% will return

    Really lovely food and service as always. Friendly and professional. Very accommodating with the children’s requests. Busy restaurant and bar but we didn’t feel like we had to wait and the atmosphere was perfect. A great way to celebrate a January birthday.
