   Wonderful dining experience at the Speakeasy Boardroom last night. Enjoyed a wonderful booth where we could visit and enjoy the ambiance which was vary cool and fun.

   The 1920's Chicago style restaurant Boardroom was fun yet fancy. Find the chandelier and piano. The lunch menu was reasonable for what you are getting, and I only wish I had eaten there on a Monday or Thursday...check the specials. I will return with more people so I can sit in the comfy looking booths. The service was impeccable and next time I will venture over to the Speakeasy bar. I had the pork chop, which was amazing, and my co-worker ordered the French onion soup (no cheese) and she said it was the best she's ever had.

   Fabulous staff (as ever). Enjoyable atmosphere where you can actually hold a conversation without it being to flattery & loud, as are many restaurants. The piano is a beautiful touch playing gently in the background.

   Food is consistently excellent. Cocktails and wine selections are great too and wine prices have less mark up than is typical for a restaurant of this quality. The space is adorned with movie star images from the '50's and '60's which suit the 'Speakeasy' theme perfectly. We enjoy the piano players at the weekends. Service is efficient and friendly and a shout out to Missy who has looked after us on a number of occasions, a very nice lady.

    We love The Boardroom for their cozy, clubby, hidden "speakeasy" atmosphere with a live piano & a full bar. It's a small menu with specials and we've found them to be incredibly tasty in all categories! Because of the room size and the music, the noise level is high. In many places we'd not return, but it's acceptable and "intimate" in The Boardroom. It's a place we will continue to return when we seek a special dining experience. They even acknowledged our anniversary. If you're in Novato and want a new experience, try The Boardroom. Missy was our attentive server and helped with our choices! Thank you!
