    The wait staff was lovely, but took 45 min for our drinks to arrive and almost 2 hours to get our food! Several tables got up and left mid service as the food took forever. They kept saying our meals were coming and then would disappear for 20 or more minutes, then drift back and say food was coming soon. Would not recommend or go back.

    The salmon tostada and carne asada were delicious! Slight headache from the house recommended margarita, so I should have upgraded the tequila that was used.

    A nice, Mex-Tex restaurant right on the 400 Mandolay Ave. block (high tourist area). Indoor or outside seating, lots of people to watch. I have an allergy to pod-type peppers and there was very little to choose from on the menu for me, but they tried to work around the problem.

    The food was pretty good, but the restaurant lacked many vegetarian options. While the service was good, it was noticeably slow. I would consider eating here again if they expanded their vegetarian menu.

    Was looking forward to trying this restaurant from the moment I booked our hotel stay at the Hilton next door. It is heavily advertised as "high end Mexican cuisine", but I am not sure why. The food was so so, the spicy margarita I had tasted weird, and the service was slow and made several errors. We ate on the patio, which was up and away from the street and well spaced out - but going into the restaurant to use the restroom, the space inside was not nice looking at all at in need of updates.

    Overall The Spotted Donkey was a delightful experience, Aaron was exceedingly kind! Our waitress Barbara very kind. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great!!

    This was the "Best" Mexican food. I do not know how anyone could complain about it. Maybe, they don't like Mexican to begin with! The price was very ready for the amount of food you get.
