   I went with the wife and while we enjoyed the majority of the meal, one part wasn't very good. The Pichana steak, while flavoursome, was like rubber. My Wife is not a complainer, so ate what she could of it, but left the rest. I tried to cut through some of the pieces, but even with the steak knife, it was incredibly difficult to cut. We did tell the server when he asked if everything was ok and the response was lukewarm at best. (no apology or anything was forthcoming). We believe it important to give accurate feedback, so they can improve next time. It took a while to be shown to a table despite thee being quite a number free. It then took10 to 15 minutes to ask for our drinks order and then another 10 to 15 to ask for our food order. Not great service in my opinion. However in fairness there were only 3 staff on duty (all quite young in my opinion) and the bar was quite busy. My food was excellent and I have no complaints about that side of things. We will go back an try again, because the menu is really appealing. Hopefully they can iron out the small issues that exist. The effort was good, but the delivery could have been better.

   Went for lunch and I had a great meal, I will definitely return as it was tasty and there is more options on the menu's that I would have liked to try. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It does not have the biggest of carparks, but I know the area well enough to not park in front of residents driveways. Looking forward to my next visit.

   Lovely meal with excellent food as always, service between courses a little bit slow but otherwise a really enjoyable night. Plus I left my scarf behind and they called to let me know allowing me to go and collect it.

   The food was delicious, well presented great quality. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We had the 3 course set menu which was excellent value for money - with lots of choice. (Except maybe if my daughter had come with us as she’s gluten free vegetarian, however I’m sure they would’ve gone out their way to accommodated her). There was a lack of ambience though, which was a shame given the quality of the food and the lovely staff. I would definitely recommend and go back again.

   The food is very good and value for money. 2 barking small dogs tied up outside were not happy at being left. Tad annoying. Barked constantly. It is a dog friendly restaurant which is great and indeed there was well behaved quiet dogs in at this time for lunch.

   We had the fixed cost menu which offered a varied selection of food at a great price. As a party we each had different dishes which all of us agreed were tasty and well prepared. Friendly and engaging staff. Highly recommend

    Great little restaurant tucked away in Muchalls . Chose from the fixed price lunch menu . Any 2 courses for £22 which was excellent value for money . I had green Thai curry which was outstanding but hubby had the fish goujons which were a little soggy with not much taste . We both had a dessert . Sticky toffee pudding and the panna cotta . Both were delicious !! This is our 3rd visit and we’ll definitely be returning again . I would highly recommend visiting this little gem !
