   Spontaneous meal here with hubby and our doggy. Part of the restaurant is dog friendly and the other part isn’t.! It’s a lovely idea. The staff were very attentive and so friendly. Food was beautiful Will be back

   Lovely visit! Food was incredible and was served very quickly after ordering. The ambiance had a nice buzz of noise and people but was warm and relaxing at the same time. Service was wonderful and evry single staff member was friendly and welcoming. One of our favourite restaurants in the area!

   I visited this restaurant last year and enjoyed an excellent Sunday roast so decided whilst in the area to revisit.The staff were very attentive again and it was really busy but I was left a little disappointed with the meal. It was very good but I don’t remember having my meal last year served all piled on top of the mash.The French beans weren’t cooked enough for me but other than that it was very good.

   7 of us in total including my 8 month old grandson . We have sharing boards for 5 and 1 roast dinner . You have to go for the sharing boards if you love a roast with all the trimmings!! Service is excellent with a smile and they made a real fuss of baby it’s those little extras that make the difference Do not miss trying this fabulous gem of a place

   Thoroughly disappointing. Table booked for 1pm and didn’t get served with food until 2.20pm after chasing. Only ordered 2x burgers and a salmon with rice. After initially being served with one round of drinks for three people, wasn’t offered any further drinks and wasn’t kept up to date with any delays. Had to approach the bar twice to order two further rounds of drinks whilst waiting. After enquiring about the delay, the server then checked what time our booking was for before advising that they had two large bookings in and that our order was next. No apology given. Also one of the large bookings of ten people actually arrived 10 minutes after us yet were served before us. As was another table of two people. They were also kept served with numerous rounds of drinks for their bottomless brunch by the servers. After raising our enquiry we were then avoided by the server for the rest of our stay and were not asked if we had enjoyed our meal when paying. Felt like we were completely unseen and then as though we had done something wrong after chasing our food. Been here for food on numerous occasions but will be avoiding after this latest experience. Food was average and was definitely not worth the wait!

   Food poorly prepared (served a pork loin steak with fat and gristle that wasn’t removed and meat tenderised), very noisy if you’re unfortunate to have the seat right under the speaker!

   We had a slight delay in accessing our table however the reason for this was explained on arrival and we were kept up to date, sat comfortably while we waited. Food was lovely and service great. Would definitely recommend.

    Lovely family meal for my wife’s birthday, would recommend if in the Alton area or post theme park trip
