   Absolutely lovely meal here, couldn’t fault it. We came here instead of having food at Alton towers where we were staying. Food & service was excellent. Highly recommend

   It was our first time coming here and we read some really nice reviews but our experience wasn't very good. We waited quite a long time for our food. We ordered Garlic bread for our children and the cheese was very strong on it, it also didn't seem like it was cooked properly just enough to melt the cheese. Our fish had so much batter on it and not much fish inside at all, a very small amount of mushy peas. Sadly wasn't the best experience to have with children as we was looking forward to a nice meal all together aswell as a stay at Alton Towers for my daughters birthday. The only nice thing was that it had other children around and a very cosy place inside.

   On the whole a nice country pub. Service was very slow and they didn’t tell us which food wasn’t available until ordering. Not much selection for vegetarian but the fish and chips were great. Problems with WiFi when paying and they seemed flustered. Probably need more staff.

   Spontaneous meal here with hubby and our doggy. Part of the restaurant is dog friendly and the other part isn’t.! It’s a lovely idea. The staff were very attentive and so friendly. Food was beautiful Will be back

    Lovely visit! Food was incredible and was served very quickly after ordering. The ambiance had a nice buzz of noise and people but was warm and relaxing at the same time. Service was wonderful and evry single staff member was friendly and welcoming. One of our favourite restaurants in the area!
