A restaurant that celebrates the splendour of British seafood and produce from local farms.

We are delighted to use the finest of local producers, farmers, and growers of the region. Seafood will always remain our focus. Oysters from Pinneys of Orford, fresh fish from Wightman based in Lowestoft, as well as meat from Salter & King in Aldeburgh, we are incredibly lucky to work with the best.

The service was relaxed but attentive. The food was good but not great, missing items and 2 dishes were cold. I am sure they had had a very busy new year so forgiven for the not so great food experience.

Great to have a whole fish (Brill) grilled and served on a platter. Perfectly served and perfectly cooked.

We booked at the last minute, but we're happy to find a table. The food was really good. One of us is not normally so keen on fish dishes but really enjoyed the monkfish. Service was very efficient but friendly and made us feel at home. This is clearly the best place to eat in Aldeburgh

As someone that requires gluten free options, The Suffolk did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. Highly recommend!

Food was very good, but timings need improved, as we got some sides after mains were finished, and some mains much later than others.
