The Swan is a fantastic, traditional pub located at the heart of Tettenhall village, just on the outskirts of Wolverhampton city centre. Turned up for my birthday meal at 7pm, to be told no food was available, short of staff they said. Could have had the decency to email me, so I could have made alternative arrangements

A brilliant afternoon to catch up with friends and watch the FA Cup. Always friendly staff and happy, family-friendly atmosphere, delicious breakfast brunch at superb value. Great range if stinks and bar snacks too. Highly recommended.

Food was lovely. Although the main advertised with the special occasion menu wasn’t available. An alternative was found. Reason for lower service marking was it was about 45minutes to receive starters& they didn’t all arrive together. Then 45mins til main course & about the same again before desserts brought out. It was a little slow getting through bar to order drinks & meals at the start. Didn’t seem overly busy so not sure why it was slow. The waiting staff were v courteous & helpful when we asked to move seat as the high benches became uncomfortable after such a long sit. An elderly guest with us struggled with the seats. Venue is very clean & welcoming. Good value prices.

Food advertised on website is not available in pub. Burgers and pizzas were available. Would not have booked table if I knew what was available. Had one drink and left. Poor bar staff kept apologising. Not her fault. Management get your act together!

We booked a table for Sunday dinner. However, we were advised that only bar snacks were available. When I asked about Sunday lunches (as advised on the website), the lady behind the bar advised the manager had not amended the website. This is a poor from a community pub

When booking the website menu said it showed a good range of bar meals when we were sat at our table we were told that it was a reduced menu to bar snacks disappointed as booked for a surprise for my sister the staff were very apologetic and very nice would go again when the full menu is available

No food being served despite accepting our booking. Signage states food served daily but this is our 3rd attempt and the reason we booked...Had to find another restaurant

I would definately recommend a visit to the swan we went for Sunday dinner and the food was lovely my daughter wanted something that wasn't available that day but the man offered and asked what she wanted and made it for her I would say definatley a 10 /10 for service and food.
