Unfortunately the chef was missing due to illness but the baguette and sweet menu were available. Baguette not my usual choice but was excellent and very tasty so overall a very nice experience and does not impinge on my opinion of the excellence of this venue, will certainly visit frequently and recommend to others.

As we were going to the Christmas market we decided to book the tavern for Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed. It was warm and welcoming and the food was amazing.

First time at the Tavern, great experience, nothing I could fault, have already booked again and have no doubt will become a regular visitor.

Food was excellent. A limited menu but that's usually a good sign in my experience that it's freshly cooked! Very good value

Very disappointed with my meal Peas were hard chips to well done Pie not to bad . Pizza fine .Risotto ok. Expensive for what u had.
