The Terrace is Chef John Fraser's American brasserie located in The Times Square EDITION. From theatergoers and power meetings to dinner parties and big brunches, our all-seasons garden restaurant offers an unexpected oasis for locals and tourists alike, nestled just steps away from New York City's most iconic intersection. The seasonal menu marries the innovation of contemporary cooking with a respect for American culinary traditions, all while emphasizing locally sourced ingredients from regional farmers and purveyors. Brasserie classics share space with a wide variety of vegetable-forward offerings, a signature cooking style of Chef Fraser's.

We are located on the 9th floor of The Times Square EDITION, entrance on the north side of 47th Street just east of 7th Avenue.

We tried this restaurant for a change in Times Square and we loved it. The restaurant was modern and nice and the menu, although not extensive, had great choices, but most importantly everything we ordered was fantastic. We also ordered the chocolate souffle with our mains which we really loved.!

Delicious food! Hats off to our waitress, Te! Lovely and helpful. All staff were nice. I actually used a spoon to finish the dressing on the tie dyed salad. Chicken dish was exceptional. Chocolate souflet was incredible so light and delicious with grand mariner ice cream. Oh my! I am a plant person and that’s why I picked this spot. They had an event close by a little loud and crazy for about 20 min. But so worth it.

I first went to this restaurant last May and loved it - sat in the terrace room with views of outside. Food and service was delicious. 2nd time came with family and it was good but we sat inside . Today came here with 5 other friends. The music was awful - throbbing pop; noise level was loud . The terrace room was all dark with all curtains drawn. Food was mediocre . I wonder what happened to what had been a welcome respite to Broadway chaos . The waiter tho was very friendly and tried his best . We tipped him well

Our lunch was excellent; highly recommend the cavatappi with short ribs and the chicken sandwich. The tiramisu was also delicious. The drinks were overpriced, and the item listed as Sunset Spritz, expected to be a bit lighter had a heavy smoked whiskey taste.
