Enjoyed a lively, tasty lunch for 3 of us. Staff attentive and polite. Food arrived hot and tasty. Good choice of drinks too.

Another excellent evening with friends at the The Three Crowns. Went on a Tuesday evening at 7:30, plenty of people dining so created a good atmosphere. Food, drinks and service was very good. Bonus of 25% discount off all food and drinks using my Gourmet Card, courtesy of Lloyds Bank. Note you do not receive this discount if you purchase one of the 2 or 3 course menu selections, so need to work out best value option for yourself before ordering.

We have eaten here a number of times before and the ambience and the real ale remain good but the food is only just about ok. The quality of the ingredients seems ok but it's just lacking in seasoning and overall flavour. As we were disappointed last time I think it will be a while before we return.

Main reason for fair overall review was that we dine at 7.30 on Saturday and a number of menu options were not available "sold out" which seemed poor.
