The Three Daggers is a traditional, cosy and oak-beamed British pub nestled in the beautiful Wiltshire village of Edington, a mere few miles from the Westbury White Horse.

We are honoured to have won the prestigious Pub of the Year Award for the whole of England in 2020, to have continually held our 2 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence since 2019 and to have been awarded 5 x Gold Stars from the AA for Accommodation excellence.

Our food is traditional British pub food with a twist, all accompanied with a carefully curated wine list alongside ales brewed from in our very own Three Daggers Brewery a moment's walk from the Pub. We also have the lovely Three Daggers Farm Shop, groaning with fresh, seasonal fruit & veg with much of the produce being sourced from our Priory Farm in the village.

We have been to the Three Daggers many times and always enjoyed our visit. Tonight was no exception. Great food, great drinks and attentive staff. Quieter than usual as we had an early table but didn’t distract from the excellent evening

Nice pub however we sat in a busy area next to the main stairs, effectively a corridor. When will eateries learn to provide comfort for their paying guests! My partners food was cold, as was the pub. Food had promise however the beef was tough and fatty. That said the rest of the meal (apart from being cold) was nicely cooked and well presented We had to ask 3 times for sauces that weren't offered when our food was delivered. The staff were friendly and did apologise for the food being cold, they also sorted a hot plate replacement. In summary....not great, I would struggle to return

Sunday lunch was ok nothing special, the seasonal vegetables could of been better the carrot and kale were ok but to have a big chunk of beetroot on your plate was a no for me, surely another vegetable would be more apt. I know a lot of pubs pre-cook roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings before service, but you could deffinalty tell these were as the potatoes were very dry and the Yorkshire pudding was like cardboard no crunch at all. My husband had the fish and chips the chips were meant to be triple cooked but weren't as he said some weren't cooked at all still hard in middle, the fish even thou the batter was well cooked he didn't think the fish was, very wet and had a slight ammonia taste to it which he left. Overall, I have had better for less money.

Good quality food, polite and helpful staff. Really good surroundings and ambience. Good to be able to take well behaved dogs and the children’s playground is perfect as a reward for good behaviour. Thank you
