Following a major refurbishment in Autumn 2014 under the new ownership, Sally and Dave pride themselves on offering fresh, local, homemade food every day from 9am to 9pm.




The various menus include restaurant quality seasonal dishes from the ‘Chef’s Recommendations’ section through to a great selection of fresh fish and tasty steaks.

    We visited today for lunch. We all had the Sunday dinner, it was delicious and came with plenty of vegetables for us all to share, gravy was lovely too.

    Although we enjoyed the festive meal we had this lunchtime we didn't think it was as good as the same meal last year. The use of turkey roll instead of sliced breast was disappointing, as was the lack of a Santa hat each and crackers like last time. A pity.

I can assure you that we do not use Turkey roll, but I will pass your comment along to the kitchen. We also do provide Santa hats to any tables who quoted 'Festive' when booking.     Absolutely lovely Sunday dinner, fresh veg, generous cuts of meat and all the trimmings. Service was great … I’d highly recommend The Throckmorton .
