The Treehouse provides a sanctuary for locals and workers alike, somewhere North Sydneysiders can flock to eat, drink and play. The restaurant is open for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and with their bar being a popular spot for after-work drinks, it offers something for everyone!

Inside you’ll be greeted to a medley of exposed brick, candelabras and chaises opening out to a leafy terrace festooned with colourful umbrellas and banquettes, garden chairs and garden gnomes. Come day or night, when the place pulses with workers winding down, it’s a perfect spot to kick back and chat over share plates, cocktails, or something from the 90-strong wine list.

David Maisey is the Head Chef, who brings 10 years’ experience working in kitchens in Byron Bay, Lord Howe Island, Avalon, Freshwater Restaurant & Arthouse Hotel and you can’t go past his fresh gnocchi - handmade onsite using a traditional recipe and served with wild mushrooms, parmesan and truffle oil.

While the food was delicious, service was poor. We had to ask for things numerous times, waiting for drinks and sauces far too long. The team were a little distracted, not focused on their customers, rather themselves chatting away and prepping for dinner.

Good dining experience with a group of 7-8 if you can get a booth. Good selection of gluten free mains although not so good on the dessert menu - only pannacotta or alternatively a cheese board

It was so lovely to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather with great food. The service was quick, although would have been nice to be offered more water. The food is great - I had the calamari and it was a very decent sized serve. I'd recommend this place for lunch and will be back myself.

The new menu is more expensive and less choice compared to the previous menu -- in particular, in the salad choices.
