   We had a wonderful evening at the two pigs. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we really enjoyed the fried chicken starter. The menu is limited so there were only a few items we would have liked to have but I believe it is changed periodically and so on this basis we could return when the menu was updated. Cocktails were 10/10 and beer selection was extensive. We were originally seated upstairs which was cold, sparse, bright and generally had a poor atmosphere. After we asked to move downstairs was cosy, good decor/lighting and just the right ambience. We were sat very close to people either side of us but it didn’t cause a problem unless you needed to get up to use the toilet. Overall very good experience we would go again when the menu is changed.

   Food is always excellent hence why we keep returning , service is hit and miss , young servers and clearly not trained , got put upstairs and asked to move downstairs as too noisy due to large group , they are aware of noise upstairs so unsure why it’s not sorted

   Fabulous Sunday lunch. The food was absolutely delicious, the roast beef was perfectly cooked. The service was very efficient, our waiter Archie was great, very friendly and professional. Would definitely highly recommend.

   Saw some decent reviews so thought we would give it a go for Saturday lunch. Food was fab as were drinks. Lovely setting. Service good apart from a slight wait for mains. Two courses & 4 drinks came to around £60 so good value!

   Service was excellent. Food was good although would have preferred to have vegetables included in main meals. Was disappointed with bread and butter pudding, found it stodgy. Main problem we had was the noise level was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other speak! I think it would be better to have large groups of people upstairs and quieter downstairs. Overall would definitely return hopefully to a quieter setting

    Good food very poor service. Not offered a dessert or drinks after our main course. We had to leave the table and find someone in order to pay the bill. Considering it was a Friday the restaurant had few customers.
