   If this were our first time at the Vig, this would probably be one or two stars; but we have had good experiences in the past. The service was quite poor. The server was quite absent and we initially wanted to give grace, but they were not busy and when I went to the restroom while people in our party were waiting to reorder drinks, they were on their phone in the corner by the inside bar. One of our rounds of drinks was made wrong, the bartender saw me and seemed to intentionally take their time doing other things. I let them know they weren’t the same as our previous rounds, they said nothing and when I thanked the bartender for remaking them, they still said nothing. There were some other issues but these were the most significant. We will go back, but it will be a while before we do.

   Great spot for lunch on the patio. Food was great as was service and patio ambience.

   The restaurant was out of Guinness beer on a Saturday evening. We had to ask for water several times and then the waiter just brought a bottle without filling up the glass. The food we didn’t order was brought to our table by a different waiter and was put on our table while we said we didn’t order abd we had to convince him we didn’t order it.

   Nice place to grab some food and drinks in downtown, especially before a show at the Van Buren. Service is a hit or miss though.

   Took my work team here. Sat inside was a bit bright and folks sitting on the north side of the table were left to wear sunglasses. We asked if we could sit outside since it was nice, but was told no. For the 1.5 hours we were there, there was ample space outside to seat us. I ordered a drink and was given the incorrect drink. Food was pretty good

   Table was ready when we arrived. Asked twice to turn down the music (which they did) but still could barely hear each other. Had to ask multiple times to have beverages refilled. Food was acceptable but nothing special. Location is in a neighborhood with very limited street parking. A few spaces behind but no indication of that from the front. Overall, disappointing.

   Ate lunch here and sat on the patio. There were heat lamps to make things cozy. Alex was our server and was efficient and pleasant. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. We enjoyed the ambiance and food. I had the fish and chips which were excellent. My two friends enjoyed there hamburgers which were prepared as requested. All in all it was a pleasant experience. Will definitely return!
