The Vig at McDowell Mountain is the 5th member in the Vig family of restaurants and the 11th establishment in the Genuine Concepts family of bars and restaurants. This Vig boasts breathtaking views of the McDowell mountains while featuring 2 full-service bars, spacious indoor booth and table seating and more than ample outdoor facilities for games and activities.
The Vig at McDowell Mountain is in a new standalone building on the southwest corner of Bell Road and Thompson Peak Parkway. The roughly 13,000-square-foot space is designed to take advantage of mountain views with large glass windows and other elements that bring the outdoors inside.

              We came for dinner as a part of the restaurant’s Valentine offering, a fixed price, fixed choice menu. 1. Our server was a new trainee and incorrectly explained the offering. She wanted to do a good job but wasn’t trained on this event. 2. The food was poor, and served at best warm(ish) and it obviously had been sitting for quite a while. We have had good experiences here in the past, some days quite good, others not. We did regret our decision to do our Valentine date night here.

              Service was a little slow, everything else was very good. Best Rueben sandwich I've ever had, highly recommend it.

              wife has a food allergy BUT totally ignored after 2 times verifying with server then told server BUT just passed off without action wife has been sick for 2 days PASSING WORD POOR PLACE TO EAT OR DRINK

              Being from Kansas City, when I visit Scottsdale, I always look for a new place to add to my favorites…and this Vig location exceeded my expectations. It’s an amazing place for a first date, for the guys to watch golf or a game…and the kids and pets have fun too. Oh yea…the food, bar, and overall ambiance is great. Perfect vibe at this Vig!!!
