   We were staying at South Coast Resort for a few days and had dinner at The Vineyard. It was very good. We had the Prime Rib Special and the Pork Chop dinner. Both were outstanding. Our server, Kyle, was very attentive . We will be back.

   This was my first time at the restaurant, and from the moment you walk in, you know you’re coming into something very special. The facility is beautiful, the food is fantastic, the service is on point, the wines were amazing, and I left feeling like I was in the middle of the Italian countryside, relaxed, satisfied, and ready to enjoy the rest of the evening.

   The place was pretty empty when we were there but it was lunch so maybe that's not a busy time for them. Our food was ok - the ceviche was delicious though. My husband and I shared the Cuban panini, and the bread was way too hard, a bit burnt and really dry. We were both disappointed in that. The french fries were very good though! Our daughter had the cheeseburger and fries and she enjoyed that. Our son-in-law also had the Cuban and his experience was the same as ours. A little more attention to the bread needs to be paid in the kitchen. Everyone was friendly though and our server was very polite and nice.

   Wonderful experience at The Vineyard Rose at South Coast Winery. First time, and definitely not the last! We ate Dinner (the first night): ceviche tataki, seafood linguini, and filet dish - plus delicious brownie dessert; lunch the second: steak frites and SCW burger; and brunch for our third and final day: banana foster pancakes and chilaquiles. We LOVED single meal - quality ingredients, phenomenal preparation - worth the time we were there to enjoy. Grateful to be sat so timely and with a wonderful smile, the food recommendations by each server and how they work as a team to ensure water/ drinks are refilled, dishes are whisked away etc… was much appreciated! WELL DONE — we look forward to visiting you again and trying more of your incredible dishes.

   Food was tasty, bread a bit dry. Service was horrible at bar when waiting for a table, manager Alan handled things horribly, our server Kyle spun things around with professional service and attentiveness. Came for my birthday and was disappointed from the begging. Luckily things got a bit better but for how well everything is rated and the price point I expected better service especially from a manager. I doubt I’ll be back given that was my first time experience.

   We absolutely love lunch and dinners at the Vineyard Rose! Beautiful interior. Food is always great. Seating could use an update in the near future. My only concern was the service tonight. We were greeted, provided water, and order was taken in a good amount of time. Food was delivered, hot and ready. When it was time to pay and leave, we waited over 10 minutes for any weight staff to come close enough to fly down. I had to find someone to get us the check. Outside of this inconvenience, south coast winery is a wonderful place to have a great meal in a very nice ambience.

    We love south coast winery and have eaten at this restaurant several times. Last time we had Bobby as our server in the patio area. This time it was Michael. Yes he may be having a leg problem and maybe should take time off. But we ordered two glasses of wine and a charcuterie board. The board was less than the expectation of what we had before. There was a lot less, the bread crackers were not appetizing and could not be used well with the cheeses given. The grapes were good and green olives were good even though I do not normally like green olives. Please go back to how the charcuterie board use to be. This was a disappointment for the price you charge. We asked Micheal to see if we could get more crackers or how to buy the cheese. He listened and said he'd ask the chef. We never got an answer. He was not as attentive as Bobby was on our last visit . We buy wines here and each time we go out there. Whomever is in charge of the staff needs to appreciate them so they appreciate their guests. If your charcuterie board is the same next time we go we will realize it's not up to par as before. We use to get the calamari but it's not as good anymore. You get a lot less for more money. Hope this place goes back to what it was before.
