   1st class cocktails and excellent courses but, unfortunately, tempered by a loud screaming child. I'll never understand a proper cocktail bar as this is, welcoming families with buggies and loud children. It's never made sense to me. Nonetheless we'll always get here to sample the cocktails. They're 2nd to none.

   I was pleased to see a good range of non alcoholic cocktails. My husband really enjoyed the venison and I the fish. Understandably some things were not available from the menu as they were opening up after the festive period. We are never disappointed with the food here and the ambience is good. As a local we appreciate having this on our doorstep

   Lunchtime, easy atmosphere, no problem with conversation being heard despite being quite busy (most tables occupied, no one standing). Venison was quite delicious, well prepared. Quite pricey, but possibly I’m just not used to city pricing. I need to get out more - and I’ll go back to The Voyage of Buck when I do.

   Food is excellent and service was adequate although not exceptional. The restaurant was quiet when we were there for lunch but very cold.

   Food was exceptional, between us we had humour, smoked salmon and both had venison for main.the presentation but more importantly quality, taste, flavour and texture was best we've tasted for many years
