   Amazing food - as always. Never fails to disappoint. I had left a request on my OpenTable booking as it was a special occasion, that was ignored. No acknowledgement. Not the place for a special occasion! Service messed up my drink, I had asked for a half rim and they gave a full rim. I also asked for something at the beginning of the meal that I was only given at the very end of my meal. Amazing food. Service could be better.

   We had a delicious Sunday lunch in the upstairs dining room. Exceptional service from Sonny, friendly and efficient. The decor is lovely and it has a great atmosphere.

   Only ever been for a Sunday toast before (which I love) This week I had the gnocchi and it was absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic too.

   Food and drinks were good and service was great. We took our 5 year old (picky-eater) and there weren’t very many kid-friendly options on the menu but we tricked him into eating the fried cod (for chicken nuggets) with fries and he did just fine. It was a cold and rainy day and the restaurant was a little on the colder side.

   Great food, disappointing service from the FOH lady at the restaurant upstairs. Despite having a reservation, my friend (visiting from overseas) was told upon being seated that the table was only available for an hour. After finishing our meal, the same person asked if we wanted another drink. When I requested the dessert menu, she responded that there likely wasn’t enough time, even though the 5 tables in the section behind us were empty. After asking her to check, she reluctantly brought the menus but made it clear through her attitude and demeanor that she didn’t want us to stay. This soured the experience, so we opted to request the bill and refused to pay the service charge. The manager, who had been polite and helpful earlier, listened to our concerns, removed the charge, and explained that the tables would soon be occupied (though they remained empty when we left 10 minutes later). Ironically, we could have ordered and finished desserts in the time it took to address the issue. A poor experience from a restaurant I’d only ever had positive feedback for previously. Given the expense of the meal, this is hardly the expectation one would have. Shocking.

   9 of us booked in for a family get together. Everything was excellent! The decor, the staff, the food, the drink, the music, the atmosphere. The whole thing was 10/10! We will certainly be back soon!
