Our ground floor features a friendly and easy-going public bar designed for walk-ins only. Upstairs is open for bookings, with a vibrant terrace bar complete with a stunning sun-draped rooftop and wrap-around veranda.

Our focus is on cocktails and great food. The Waratah is our love letter to all that makes Australia unique: small & independent producers, local growers, native produce and a diverse and singular landscape.

    Our 2nd time was not as great as before We couldn’t get an earlier booking but the main room was half empty and cold as balcony door needs to be open but some heating for main room would be nice .other than that food ,service and cocktails wonderful

    Outstanding food and service. Given the crew that work there and as expected the cocktails were first class. Highly recommend the Olive and Smoke.

    Incredible experience from the moment we stepped in. Food flavors were unique and exciting. Loved the use of seasonal produce and native ingredients, not to mention the world class cocktails. Olive and smoke was a stand out and the house spritz we had just hit the spot! Will definitely be back soon!

    Me and my partner just went on Friday night oysters and some Prosecco. I understand that Friday special is oyster for $3 , but from 12 oysters 4 of them were with shells inside . It was a busy night , you are shucking these oysters in bulk , but it’s not acceptable to have this danger for your customers . However , service was good , scallops and lobster roll were fine. Maybe , I have to come back and try something else . I hope you will improve in future.

    I had such a great night. We went there with my boyfriend for the $25 steak and fries night on Thursday’s, and the meat was amazing, the staff as well, really friendly. This place is well decorated, thanks for everything :) will come back and recommand for sure
