Given the locale and the fact that we hope to welcome families, there are exciting, healthy and accessible foods for kids, a host of diner classics, and a particularly extensive steak selection. We are working with some of our favourite craft butchers to create our own aging room and source some amazing salt-aged meats.

Private dining room on the first floor can fit up to 60 guests. We host private events e.g. weddings, anniversaries, special occasions, funerals.

I've visited The Washerwoman with a friend 4 times in the past 6 months and enjoyed the experience each time. The food was always delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. The service was attentive but never intrusive.

Had a great catch up dinner in The Washerwoman this week - from walking through the door to leaving was perfect. Food was fresh and very satisfying. Service was friendly and professional. I loved that our tea came in a big pot to share with our desserts - will definitely be back again.

I had the mussels to start and the sea bream for main course with a side order of chips. Every bite was delicious and perfectly coked. I cannot wait to return.
