   Great to see the former spot we all know and loved have a sweet second act! The Wayward is a welcomed addition to our little speck of the world we call Sayville. The staff is outstanding, friendly, and make you feel like family. The food is the bonus. Weekly specials and an added Sunday Brunch make this a weekly stop for my family and I. See you soon!

   We haven't been here since they first opened. At that time, their menu was very limited for obvious reasons. Since then, the expansion has been great and everything we tried from drinks to appetizers to entrees was fantastic. It was a wonderful night - definitely going back!

   The Wayward has become my go - to for almost everything. Too lazy to cook? Wayward. Want to watch the game? Wayward? Going out on the town? Let’s start at Wayward. The food is prepared and created the same every single time, I have never once had an issue. The drinks are delicious and refreshing, my new addiction is the pumpkin espresso martini. Overall, great place, delicious food, and a staff made of people who actually care.

   One in our party ordered a seafood special. The first time it came out it was too undercooked. The second attempt was cooked, but still not good. One of our group had a cocktail that was not great.
