The White Hart at Maulden is a beautiful 17th century thatched coaching inn serving delicious modern British cuisine and improved pub classics.
Everything is made fresh on site, we bake bread and hand-make the pies, and we also have a locally famous carvery on Sundays and Thursdays.
We are also popular for group bookings, parties and events.

We can and do cater to requests from great value buffets to fine dining banquets. We have our own hog roast and BBQ and also do outside catering to private events. <br />Please get in touch for more details.
Private party facilities
We can accommodate up to 80 seated inside in winter, 120 including the outside terrace, 150 seated and standing inside, and up to 500 standing outside.We do weddings and events throughout the year but summer weekends tend to book up early so please get in touch as soon as possible.

Expecting a new menu (according to the chef) in the coming weeks however what we ate was top notch, have never had a bad meal at the White Hart and this was no different, I understand that there is new management and I'm sure when word gets out it will get busier, we were the only diners in the resteraunt until our pudding arrived however it was a Tuesday night, they have all the ingredients to make it a cracking restaraunt and I shall defo be attending again in the future its a lovely village pub.

Visited the White Harte for lunch with family who were visiting from Ireland. Had a table for 6, for lunch. Used the lunch time menu, 2 courses for £10.90. Good selection of choices, only downside was the chicken curry was not available. Everyone was happy with the food & Guinness was great. Good selection of wines to choose from, & reasonable prices. Will definitely return.

Very enjoyable evening and the food was excellent. Have not been here before but booked after looking online for somewhere different where we had not been before and The White Hart had some decent reviews. Nice friendly staff and the pub has a nice cosy feel about it, very pleased and we will be booking again and recommending to friends.

Unfortunately the service was slow and inattentive we ordered steaks both were very over cooked Were given the wrong side orders and were only ever offered 1 drink were never check back over Really disappointed for a restaurant that was a finalist in the 2017 local food and drink awards Felt more like a harvester

Had a lovely meal for my partners birthday at the White Hart. Staff were very sweet and set the table with decor and a happy birthday message (it was boxing day). Nice pub ambience with a roaring fire. We really enjoyed it and the quality and freshness of the food was superb together with friendly efficient service from lovely staff.

Having seen some reviews crtiticising the speed of service, we were a little apprehensive. However the service was superb...and so was the food!

The food was great but the evening was spoilt by bad service, we had to ask to place our order after waiting 20 minutes, incorrect potato brought out and no offer to change it, nobody asked if we wanted another drink and when in desperation to leave, we asked for the bill, that took forever as did bringing the card to take payment . Such a shame!
