The Whitman–an all-new restaurant concept by Bal Harbour Shops, designed exclusively for the Bal Harbour Shops Access Pop-up. The Whitman name draws inspiration from The Whitman by The Sea– a luxury Miami Beach hotel owned by the Whitman family in the 1940s.
The Whitman brings the iconic dining experience of Bal Harbour Shops to life through its breezy indoor-outdoor space. Evoking a decadent lifestyle of leisure, the palm-framed courtyard retains the idyllic al fresco environment of the Shops. We went on a Sunday before Thanksgiving. Very few tables were occupied. It was a little cool and they had no outside heaters so we ate inside. We were the only table inside. It's not a comfortable place. Not a big menu selection. If you like a smashed burger this might be the place for you. Staff were very nice. Bathrooms were a deluxe port-a-potty. We will not return.

Horrible club disco dj ( not his fault - who booked this type of music??) on a beautiful Sunday morning when photo on your site is of a young woman playing violin - as there is a superior and well known musical arts high school down the block we assumed they booked local talent- how cool would that be?? BAD experience and we know Bal Harbour shopping. 👎👎👎👎👎

The 2 Ribeyes were not seared properly as the presentation was lacking. Krispy Chicken and Caesar Salad were very good. We enjoyed having Luis as our server, and we highly recommend him.

It was great, but unfortunately they have syop serving because they are near the date of shutting down the pop up store. I was not able to try several items on the menu.
