   We gad a delicious meal of salmon and crushed potatoes. My husband had sticky toffee pudding which was also very good.

   Stayed here for 1 night and ate in the restaurant. No fancy food (which is a good thing) but really tasty, well presented pub food. I had the steak pie and it was very good, not too much pastry and plenty of moist filling served with chips, carrots and crispy kale. My wife had the salmon which she said was perfectly cooked and had a lovely crispy skin. We both had the Tarte Tatin with ice cream which was a bit too sweet for our taste but still nice. We finished off with coffee sitting by a roaring fire while the snow fell outside. Lovely meal, young, pleasant, and attentive staff and good value too.

   From moment you arrive you receive 5* service. This was our second visit and was apprehensive given how good the first stay was, however it was as good if not better and can’t wait to book again ❤️❤️

   Restaurant was lovely and soothing atmosphere. Fish and chips were excellent, I had special which was lamb accompanied with recommended wine delicious. Dessert a big thumbs up 👍

   We had a fantastic lunch at the Woodside Hotel in Doune. Our group of friends met here for a relaxed afternoon, and the experience was perfect from start to finish. The lunch was absolutely delicious—everything tasted so fresh, and it was clear that high-quality ingredients were used in every dish. We really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere; we lingered for quite a while, enjoying our time together, and never felt hurried. The staff were loving. Highly recommend this gem of a spot for anyone looking for a warm, relaxed meal with great food and excellent service!

   Very pleasant stay even it was only a night,staff very friendly and helpful, very clean and tidy,room was good, clean and tidy and food was excellent so would recommend this establishment to my family and friends and any one else
