The food and service is consistently top notch. The smell of raw sewage is getting worse each time we have visited the restaurant over the past couple of months. Management says they’re working with the building owner to find the source of the stench.

Food quality has gone very low . Menu is changed and so are recipes. The change is not a good change . Taste and quality both gone too low . Not worth spending 150 dollars for two people.

Let me start by saying that this is not our first time dining at Yellow Chilli and the reason we return is obviously food and the service. Last night we dined there to celebrate my daughter’s 13th birthday. I wasn’t impressed with the server who seated us. She seated us at the long table that was closest to the hallway leading to the restrooms. The moment we sat we experienced a strong stench. I requested her to seat us elsewhere and she was quick to brush us off and say ‘well I don’t smell anything but I can move you’. Secondly, we ordered the aloo tikki that comes on a layering of yogurt. I asked her if we could have the yogurt on the side and again she was quick to respond NO. It will be served as is, on the bed of yogurt. I would like to ask the owner(s) how would you accommodate someone who is lactose intolerant but wishes to enjoy the aloo tikki? We ordered the chicken tikka, mutton seekh, golgappe and tikki which all tasted great. For the main course we had butter chicken which was not appetizing, chicken curry tasted good and the mutton biryani that tasted just okay. We ordered butter naan and roti. Firstly they served us garlic naan instead of the butter ones, that too, cold and hard. We waited sometime for the server to come back to us to check how we were doing and another 10mins to get the correct breads. Overall, I wasn’t disappointed with food as much because I understand slight inconsistencies are expected but our server’s attitude really put us off. Something to work on if you’re working in this industry.

We recently dined at Yellow Chili, and while the appetizers were absolutely delicious, the overall experience was disappointing. Despite having a reservation, the service felt rushed and disorganized. Orders for appetizers and main courses were taken together, and the dishes were brought out so quickly that it felt like we were being rushed through the meal. Unfortunately, the main courses didn’t live up to the standard set by the appetizers. The food was sweet and cold, which was underwhelming. To top it off, dessert was brought out while our party was still eating, further making us feel hurried and unable to enjoy our time. The appetizers showed the potential for a great dining experience, but the rushed service and lackluster main courses overshadowed everything. We hope they work on improving their pacing and food quality to make dining here more enjoyable.

The restaurant was empty on a Saturday night but it smelled so bad, like sewage. We told that wait staff and they told us it was the AC and began dousing the entire restaurant in febreeze. So they but smelled like sewage and too much air freshener. Even though no one was in the restaurant, the staff didn’t wait on us or some check on us. We had to call them over for our order and wave them down for other things. They were also not knowledgeable about the menu. Save your money and go elsewhere. If the owners just invested in hiring the right people to ensure good service, this could be a great place. The food is excellent so well done to the chef but the staff sucks.
